Media processing
Images and videos you open in SnappyEdit are processed locally on your Mac. They are not uploaded to SnappyEdit, Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare, or any other remote processing service. Source files are not overwritten.
App network access
The app uses the network in three situations: when you activate or deactivate a license through Lemon Squeezy, when it re-checks that the license is still valid, and when it looks for cryptographically signed software updates. Activation sends your license key and your Mac's name, which Lemon Squeezy shows as the name of the activation.
About once a week, while it can reach the network, SnappyEdit re-checks the license so that refunded or disabled keys stop working. That request carries your license key and activation ID and nothing else. If the check cannot complete, the app keeps working normally — an unreachable licensing service never locks SnappyEdit. The license record is stored in macOS Keychain, and none of these requests include your images, videos, or file names.
Website
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, accounts, or marketing cookies. Cloudflare necessarily processes basic network information to securely deliver the site and prevent abuse under its own privacy terms.
Purchases
Checkout and payment information are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. SnappyEdit does not receive or store full payment-card details. Lemon Squeezy provides order, customer, and license details needed to fulfil and support the purchase.
Support
If you email support, the contents of your message and your return address are used to answer your request. Do not attach private media unless it is necessary and you are comfortable sharing it.
